Communion Table linens

Size: Up to and Including 48” x 48”. Drops all around

White linen tablecloths made of fine quality linen. Communion tablecloths are CUSTOM MADE to fit the individual tables for which they will be used. The cloths should be obtained in sizes large enough to permit a fall of about 10” on all four sides of the table. Our tablecloths are made with a 1” hem all around. HEMSTITCHING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

Fair Linen Cloth

Covers the altar top and hangs over each end at least 18”. Five crosses are embroidered in white on the portion of the cloth that covers the altar top, one at each corner and one in the centre. Additional charges apply for lengths longer than 120”. A 1” hem at sides and 3” hems at ends.

Credence Cloths

Covers the tabletop and hangs over each end like small fair linen. An embroidered Cross in the centre of the front edge made with an 8” fall at each end. Additional charges apply for lengths longer than 46”.

Altar Linens
When ordering Fair Linen Cloths or Credence Cloths it is necessary to provide us with the length, width and height measurements of your Altar or Credence Table. Fair Linen Cloths should hang over each end of the altar at least 18”. Credence Cloths should have a drop of at least 8” at each end of the table. Both cloths are usually made the full width of the altar or tabletop. Variations in either the width or the depth of the fall will be made if requested.

Palls
Used to cover the Chalice. It is a 7” square of plastic covered with linen with an embroidered Cross in the centre on one side. Also available in 9” squares.

Post Communion Veils

Used to cover the Chalice and Paten after administration. Standard size 20” square with a 3” embroidered Cross.

Purificators
Used to cleanse the rim of the Chalice. Small embroidered Cross in the centre. Standard size is 12” square with _” hem.

Lavabo Towels

– 12” x 18”

The Corporal

On which the chalice and paten are placed on the altar. Cross is embroidered in the centre of the front third on the Corporal. Standard size is 21” with a 1/2” hem all around.

Element Covers

A large plain white linen cloth similar to a tablecloth is 36” square, sufficient to cover a height of 4 trays.
